General Responsibilities: The Medical Technician must have extensive knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science. The technician must procure patient specimens when necessary and evaluate data obtained after testing and must make judgements based on these observations. In some instances, uses sound scientific principles and empirical observations to deduce “unknown” identifications.
